Nancy A. Orr

Boardman - Nancy A. Orr, 81, passed away June 5, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
Nancy was born July 22, 1934 in Youngstown, a daughter of Paul and Ann Molchany.
A lifelong area resident, she was a graduate of South High School and attended The Ohio State University. Mrs. Orr worked as a manager for many years at Isaly's Corporation and also for Wisenbach's Men Shop in Youngstown. After retiring, Nancy kept busy by baking and selling cookies and she cleaned homes for several people.
In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, baking, playing cards with family and friends, and keeping a well maintained home and yard.
Her husband, John T. Orr, Sr., whom she married in 1954, preceded her in death in 2002. Nancy is survived by her daughter, Stephanie (Mike) Kandray of Winston Salem, NC; son, John T. Orr, Jr. of Boardman; two sisters, Alice Wilds of Canfield and Carol Rowe of Austintown; seven grandchildren, April (Chris) Emory of Greenville, SC, Nicole (Chris Hardee) Kandray of Raleigh, NC, Michael (Stephanie) Kandray of Winston Salem, NC, Rachael (John) Boggs of Kingsport, TN, Jessica (Daniel) Lokomski of New Brighton, PA, Samantha (Joshua) Dikun of Winston Salem, NC, and John Orr, III of Florence, SC; and eight great-grandchildren, Alex, Elizabeth, Adah, Abigail, Ben, Breanna, Luke, and Trent.
In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by her sister, Pauline Bracken.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at the Davis-Becker Funeral Home, 8536 Market St., Boardman. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Following the service all guests are invited to join the family for a luncheon at the Becker Family Center. Interment will follow after the luncheon at Pineview Memorial Park, Warren.
