Nancy Jane Moore, 72 Poland- Nancy Jane Moore, 72, of 6580 James Street, died Monday afternoon at her residence. Nancy was born October 1, 1933 in Poland Township, a daughter of John and Mary Elizabeth Mallery Settle. She was a life-long area resident. She worked in housekeeping for North Lima Trucks and was a packager for American Paper. In 1993 she retired from Giant Eagle in Poland, where she was employed in the hot food section of the Deli. Nancy was a former member of Poland Center Community Church. She was an avid Bingo player and loved to bowl. She was a member of the Genotta Bowling League at the Holiday Bowl and two leagues at the Struthers Bowladrome. Her first husband John Safarek whom she married in 1950 died in 1951. Her second husband William R. Moore whom she married February 28, 1953 died October 2, 1981. She is survived by her fiancée, Ronald A. Cartmell at home, one daughter, Julia âa�A"Judyâa�A� (Rev. Clarence) Davis of Leetonia, three sons, Joseph (Patty) Moore of New Port News, Va., Thomas (Sharyn) Moore of Struthers, and Bill Moore of Kannapolis, NC, one sister, Grace Wentink of Elyria, one brother, Paul Settle of Struthers, six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and spouses, Nancy was preceded in death by one brother John Settle and one sister, June Scannell. Funeral services will be Thursday, 11:00 AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland. Friends may call today from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
