Nancy L. McClure

Struthers - Nancy L. McClure, 93, died on Saturday, September 10, 2016 in Hospice of the Valley's, Hospice House. She was born March 19, 1923 in Youngstown, daughter of the late Vito and Jenny Spadaro Greco.

Nancy was a 1940 graduate of Struthers High School and was a member of Christ Our Savior Parish at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church in Struthers. She loved spending time with her family and her extended Greco family. Nancy enjoyed weekly shopping trips to KMart with friends, daily crossword puzzles and jumbles. She never missed any of her son's and grandson's sporting events and loved her time sitting on the porch.

She leaves her daughter, Mary Lee McClure of Struthers; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Patti McClure of Struthers; two grandchildren, Matthew (Abby Pierce) McClure of Columbus and Michael (Michelle) McClure of Perry and her great grandson, who was the apple of her eye, Mason McClure "Her Tweety" and a great grandson on the way.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard McClure in 1974; her infant son, Ricky McClure, her beloved sister, Mary Greco Sanders, and two brothers, Joe "Pepi" Greco and Paul "Pudge" Greco.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11am at Christ our Savior Parish at St, Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, 764 5th St. Struthers, with the Rev. Fr. Martin Celuch as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

Friends will be received prior to Mass from 10-10:45am at the church.

The Davidson-Becker Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Contributions may be made, in her name, to the St. Nicholas Altar and Rosary Society for continued flower decorations at the church.
