Poland - Nancy L. Masucci, 69, of Poland, died Thursday afternoon at Hampton Woods.
Nancy was born March 1, 1942 in New Castle, PA, a daughter of Michael and Stella Yachym Sfara.
A 1959 graduate of Mohawk High School, Nancy received her Bachelor of Arts in Education from Slippery Rock University. She was a teacher for Mohawk Schools.
Her husband, Stephen Masucci, whom she married July 16, 1966, died March 14, 2008; she leaves one daughter, Nancy (Marc) Creemers of Medina; one son, Michael (Michelle) Masucci of Poland; one sister, Pauline (Joe) Scungio of New Castle; one brother, Mike (Marie) Sfara of Hillsville; six grandchildren, Michael, Katie, and Hannah Masucci, and Jason, Brian, and Lauren Creemers; and her mother, Stella Sfara of Hillsville.
Besides her father and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by a nephew, Michael Sfara.
A Mass of Christian Burial is being held today at 9:30 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church with Fr. Stephen Popovich officiating. Interment will follow at the Poland Riverside Cemetery.
