Nancy A. Ballone, 44 Campbell - Nancy A. Ballone, 44, of 822 Kimmel Ave., died Friday afternoon after a courageous battle of breast cancer with her husband, children and family at her side at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Nancy A. Ballone was born February 16, 1958 in Youngstown, a daughter of Stephen G. and Dora Raco Vargo. She was a life-long area resident. She was a 1976 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and received her Bachelors of Education in 1979 from Kent State University. She later received her Masters degree from Youngstown State University. Nancy was a teacher for the Youngstown City School Systems since 1980. She was a Learning Disability teacher for Madison Elementary and later a Sixth grade teacher for Jackson Elementary. She then became Assistant Principal for Sheridan Elementary and Principal for Cleveland Elementary School. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville where she was a Sixth grade CCD Instructor. She was a member of the Youngstown Administrators Supervisor and Secondary Principals (YASSP) and the (OAESA) Ohio Association of Elementary and Secondary Administrators. Nancy enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading and traveling with her family. She also coached for the Campbell Youth Soccer League. Besides her mother of Campbell, sheâa�a��ll be sadly missed by her husband Frank M. Ballone, Jr., whom she married April 26, 1980; one daughter Nina T. Ballone at home and two sons, Frank A. and Stephen G. Ballone both at home; one sister Stephanie Vargo of Pittsburgh; two brothers, Jeffrey Vargo of Youngstown and Gregory Vargo of Canfield. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, 1:00 PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland and 2:00 PM at Holy Rosary Church. Friends may call Monday from 5-8 PM at the Funeral Home.
