Myrtle McEldowney

Youngstown - Myrtle McEldowney, 87, died December 26, 2014 at Forum Health Northside Medical Center.
Mrs. McEldowney was born February 24, 1927 in Herndon, PA, a daughter of David and Beulah Wentzel Reed.
She was a graduate of Herndon High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of Tabernacle Evangelical Church.
Myrtle was married to her late husband, Arthur, whom she married Oct. 12, 1946, She is survived by one son, Robert D. McEldowney of Ecuador; one daughter, Peggy (Larry) Zolton of Edmonds, WA; her sister Faith Brosius of Middletown, PA and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her sister Hope Sarah Wolfe and two brothers, Luke D. Reed and Seth W. Reed.
Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Tabernacle Evangelical Church. Interment will follow at Lake Park Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received one hour prior at the church and there will be a luncheon served at the church immediately following the service.
