Myrtle Irene Cunning - 95 STRUTHERS - Myrtle Irene Cunning, 95, of Elm St., died Wednesday afternoon at St. Mary's Alzheimer Center in Beaver Township. Mrs. Cunning was born in Edinburg, PA., on August 25, 1912, a daughter of Earl and Pearl Ross McLaughlin. She was a member of the Struthers Presbyterian Church and had worked for Youngstown Welding as an inspector. Her first husband, Cecil Frank Bodine, whom she married in 1928, died in 1949; her second husband, Edward J. Cunning, whom she married February 27, 1960, died October 29, 1966. She leaves two daughters, Sally Stevens of Columbiana, and Rebecca Kunce of New Middletown; one sister, Bernice Kuppers of Youngstown; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Daisey Burrell; seven sisters, Stella Adams, Lena King, Annabelle Stellar, Violet Buckio, Florence Mounce, Geraldine Earwood, and Eleanor Akers. Family and friends will be received Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
