Muriel Kimberly Roberts âa�" 91 CINCINNATIâa�"Muriel Kimberly Roberts, 91 of 2703 Silverleaf Ave, formerly of Youngstown, died December 6, 2006. Mrs. Roberts was born February 20, 1915 in Youngstown, a daughter of James T. & Charlotte Kimberly. She was an accomplished pianist and organist, playing for various churches in Youngstown and Akron for many years. In the late 30âa�a��s she had a piano radio show, entitled âa�A"Study in Black and Whiteâa�A� with WKBN and WFMJ radio stations. During the period of the Great Band Era, she was invited to play with such Bands as Harry James, Tommy Dorsey and Glen Miller, and for many years, she was the pianist for the Gwynne Jenkinsâa�a�� Chorus. She graduated from South High School in 1933 and was a member of St. Johnâa�a��s Episcopal Church. She married Thompson C. Roberts, Jr., September 29, 1940. She leaves a daughter Lynn Roberts of Cincinnati; a son-in-law, The Very Rev. Kenneth Richards of San Joaquin Valley, CA; five grandchildren, Kimberly Ward of San Diego; Kathryn Archambault of Valencia, CA, Jennifer Daley of Byron, Minnesota, David Richards of Prineville, Oregon, Sarah Cork of Cincinnati; four great-grandchildren, Ashton and Parker Ward both of San Diego; Hudson Daley of Byron Minnesota; Nicholas Archambault of Valencia, CA. Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her husband, Tut; her daughter Diane Richards; sister, Jean Flock and brother, Roger Kimberly. A memorial service will be held at later date. She will be buried beside her husband of 63 years at the Lake Park Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers. Condolences may be sent at
