Warren E. Wellendorf, 87, of Poland passed away Tuesday morning at his residence in the presence of his family.
Warren was born November 3, 1925 in Youngstown, a son of the late Tod and Helen Seifert Wellendorf, and was a lifelong area resident. He was a 1942 graduate of South High School and served in the National Guard during the 1940's.
A proud lifetime Teamster member, Warren was employed for forty years as an owner/operator with Youngstown Cartage Company. Warren enjoyed spending time in Florida and traveling the US with his wife, in-laws and friends. Two memorable trips to Italy with his lifelong buddy Sam were among his favorite adventures. Most often described as "a gentleman's gentleman", Warren's kind spirit, fun-loving attitude and generosity will remain as his legacy.
