Miriam Doreen Wilson

Miriam Doreen Wilson, 87 Poland- Miriam Doreen Wilson, 87, of 2737 Poland Village Blvd., formerly of Poland Ave., Struthers died early Tuesday morning at her granddaughterâa�a��s residence. Mrs. Wilson was born July 7, 1915 in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania a daughter of David and Louisa Rosser Davis. She came to this area in 1924 and to Lowellville in 1948 where she lived until moving to the Struthers Manor in 1991. She was an Elevator Operator for the Central Towers and McKelveyâa�a��s Department Store both in downtown Youngstown. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lowellville Methodist Church. Her husband Henry W. Wilson whom she married October 20, 1935 died June 1983. She leaves one son, David (June) Wilson of Lowellville; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Hattie Warne and Margaret Craig, one brother, Richard Davis and one granddaughter Elizabeth June Wilson preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Friday, 11:00 AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Lowellville. Friends may call Thursday from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
