Mildred Inez Weaver, 90 Liberty- Mildred Inez Weaver, 90, formerly of Struthers and Poland, died Monday morning at Liberty Health Care Center. Mrs. Weaver was born in Tellulah Falls, Georgia June 2, 1913, a daughter of Daniel and Lola Panter Smith. She came to the area in the early 40âa�a��s. She sold Sarah Coventry jewelry for over 30 years. She graduated from Young Harris College in Georgia and was a school teacher before coming to the area. Mrs. Weaver was former PTA President at Sexton Street School. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Poland, where she was involved in the Guild Girls, Ladies Aid and the Quilting Club. She also taught bible class. Her husband, Carl Prince Weaver, whom she married, January 15, 1936, died December of 1974. She leaves four daughters, Carlene Gillner of Chicago, Il, Emily ( Ken) Stafford of Hubbard, Pamela (Bill ) Patterson of Mineral Ridge, and Vickie Jakubek of Berlin Center; one brother, Clinton Smith of Morganton, GA.; ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren . Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Charles Lavelle Weaver; five brothers, Roy, Everette, Lloyd, Raymond, and James Smith. Funeral services will be Thursday 10:30 AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
