Youngstown - Mildred MacVitch, 94, of Youngstown, died Sunday, May 18, 2008 at Beeghly Oaks. Miss MacVitch was born February 8, 1914 in Youngstown, a daughter of Joseph and Mary Cvitkovich MacVitch. She worked as a rubber worker for AeroQuip for 33 years, retiring in 1976. She was a very generous person, especially to children. Miss MacVitch enjoyed to travel and will be sadly missed by all. She is survived by two great-nieces, Pamela (fiance Bob DeVicchio) Allegretto and Dawn (Sean) Jacobs-King; three great-nephews, Michael (Tessa) Allegretto, Bill (Becky) Jacobs and Jim Jacobs; her niece's husband, Frank Allegretto; her nephews wife, Betty Jacobs and numerous great-great-nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Tom, and Jim MacVitch; one sister, Catherine Jacobs; a niece, Mary Ann Allegretto; and a nephew, Bill Jacobs. There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Lake Park Cemetery Chapel.
