Mildred "Millie" Hillman

YOUNGSTOWN - Mildred "Millie" Crissinger Hillman, 94, passed away Sunday afternoon, April 27, 2014, at Austintown Woods.
Millie was born June 24, 1919, in Spencer, W.Va., a daughter of Wilbur and Lulu Board Crissinger.
She was a graduate of Struthers High School. Millie graduated from Youngstown College with an associate's degree in business. She worked as a salesperson for Bermann's Electric in Boardman for many years.
She was a member of St. Patrick's Church and a former member of AARP, and would attend class reunion gatherings once a month.
Millie married Charles P. Hillman on Aug. 17, 1959. He passed away July 30, 2013.
She is survived by her son, Benjamin F. (Carolyn) Defendeifer of Naples, Fla.; one granddaughter, Darlene Kifer of Boardman; two grandsons, Derek and Darren Defendeifer, both of Poquoson, Va.; two great-grandchildren, Finn Defendeifer of Poquoson, Va., and Nichole Kifer of Boardman; sister-in-law, Agnes (Bill) McSkimming of Boardman; many nieces and nephews; and a dear friend from childhood, Dora LeSueur of Washington.
Besides her parents and husband, Millie was preceded in death by her son, Randall W. Defendeifer; and sister, Winona Slagle.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, April 29, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Youngstown.
Internment will follow at the Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.
Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. at the church.
