Michael J. Weingart-59 CANFIELDâa�"Michael J. Weingart, 59 of 190 Saybrook Dr., died Sunday afternoon at Forum Health Northside Medical Center. Mr. Weingart was born on March 19, 1947 in Youngstown, a son of Donald S. & Veronica Tomcsak Weingart. He was born and raised in Youngstown, he later lived in Michigan and Texas, and moved back to this area in 1998. Mr. Weingart was a 1965 graduate of Chaney High School, and a 1971 Graduate of Youngstown State University where he received a Bachelorâa�a��s Degree in Business Administration. He was employed as a Superintendent for General Motors retiring in 2001 after 31 years. Mr. Weingart was a member of Our Lady of Hungary Church, where he served as an Eucharistic Minister, and helped manage Bingo. He also volunteered at the Meshel Masco Program for the Handicap. He is survived by his mother, Veronica Weingart of Riverside CA., his wife, the former Marilyn Kacar, whom he married June 26, 1971, a daughter, Jennifer Weingart, at home, one son, Michael (Heather) Weingart, of Chicago Ill.; two sisters, Mary Weingart of Riverside CA, Martha (Marty) Willmitch of Boardman, two brothers, Donald (Kathy) Weingart of Boardman, and Kenneth Weingart of Riverside CA., and one grandson, Gage Weingart. There will be a memorial mass Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of Hungary Church, 545 N. Belle Vista Ave. Youngstown, OH 44509. Friends may call one hour prior at the church.
