Michael J. Redarsky

Struthers - Michael Joseph Redarsky, 43, of Struthers, died Thursday, October 18, 2007. Mike was born October 14, 1964 in Youngstown, a son of Richard and Carol Danko Redarsky. He was a 1983 graduate of Boardman High School. Mike was co-owner of Select Designs Cabinet Shop in North Lima. He previously played in bands throughout the area and enjoyed playing the guitar. He also loved fishing, riding his motorcycle, and his pet cats and his dog. Mike leaves his mother, Carol Redarsky of Struthers; his fiancée, Teresa Sykes, with whom he made his home; a step-son, Jason Sykes at home; a brother, Gregory (Sharon) Redarsky of Boardman; a niece, Kristen Redarsky of Boardman; his maternal grandmother, Mary Danko of Struthers; and his uncle, Joseph Danko of Hubbard. Besides his father, Mike was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Joseph Danko; and his paternal grandparents, Michael and Julia Redarsky. Family and friends will be received Sunday from 3-6 P.M. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers, where funeral services will be held Monday, 10:30 A.M. with Fr. Richard Brobst officiating.
