Hillsville - Michael R. Messina, 76, of Hillsville, PA, died this past weekend at his residence.
Michael was born February 24, 1935 in New Castle, PA, a son of Pete and Rose Maravola Messina.
He worked for Gennaro Paving for over 35 years and was a member of Christ the King Parish in Hillsville.
Michael leaves his sisters, Mary Jean (Robert) Arp of Lowellville and Betsy Bova of Struthers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Michael was preceded in death by one brother, James Messina; and two sisters, Judy Lansdowne and Shirley Olivo.
A Memorial service will be held Thursday, 2:30 pm at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers.
Friends will be received Thursday from 1:30 pm until the time of service.
