Michael J. Hermes

Michael J. Hermes, 88, died September 30, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
Mr. Hermes was born in Yugoslavia on April 14, 1929, the son of Joseph and Anna Hermes.
Michael was a self employed scale engineer at Wide Range Scale Service.
He was a member of the Saxon Club, where he enjoyed playing bocce.
Michael also enjoyed coin collecting as well as fishing with family.
His greatest joy in life was his family specifically his grandchildren.
His wife, Christine, whom he married Sept. 20, 1952, died Nov.9 2008.
He is survived by one daughter, Christine (Michael) Skeens of Boardman; one son, Michael Hermes of Poland; four grandchildren, Michael, Donald, Aaron, Ryan; and great-grandchild, Aubrey.
A private memorial service will be held in the spring.
