Michael J. Folsom

Boardman - Michael J. Folsom, 44, of Boardman, died Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at the Hospice House. Mike was born March 6, 1964 in Youngstown, the son of Clay and Michaelene Terpack Folsom. He was an avid hiker and hiked the Appalachian Trail. Mike was a very bright man who was technology savvy and loved to build his own computers. He leaves his life partner, William "Billy" Kelley of Charlotte, North Carolina; three cousins, Alfred Jenney of Cudjoe, Florida, Jean Patellis of Middlefield, Ohio, and Sharon Lyons of Sayerbrook, Ohio; his dear friend, Carol Krosby Jenney of Cocoa, Florida; and his golden retriever, London. He was preceded in death by his father, Clay Folsom, who was the Director of Curriculum at the Youngstown City Schools; and his mother, Michaelene Folsom, who was an Instructor of Speech Therapy at YSU. There will be no calling hours or services. Arrangements are being handled by the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland.
