Michael Feschak, Jr.

Poland - Michael Feschak, Jr., 71, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Select Specialty Hospital, surrounded by family.

Mr. Feschak was born July 2, 1947 in Kingston, PA, a son of the late Michael and Jule Shatkus Feschak.

Raised in Pennsylvania, he was a 1965 graduate of St. John's High School in Pittston. Mike continued his education at Kings College in Wilkes-Barre and received his bachelor's degree in accounting in 1969. Mr. Feschak worked for HBD Industries, ultimately obtaining the role of Chief Financial Officer, prior to retiring after over 35 years of service. Locally, he worked as a Chief Financial Officer for Youngstown Steel Door for several years.

In his free time, Mike enjoyed a relaxing day of fishing.

He is survived by his wife, the former Michaelene Kopacz, whom he married June 6, 1970; two sons, Michael Feschak, III of Hong Kong and Matthew (Christina) Feschak of Charleston, SC; two grandchildren, Nadiya and Mitchell; his sister, Barbara (Don) Tiskevics of The Colony, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private celebration of Michael's life will be held by the family.
