Merle Richard Davis

Merle Richard Davis, 57 Austintown- Merle Richard Davis, 57. died September 12, 2003 at St. Elizabeth Health Center. He was born May 10, 1946 in Youngstown, a son of Merle l. and Josephine Fink Davis. Mr. Davis was a brakeman at Youngstown Sheet and Tube (LTV) until its closing. He was also a manager at Color Tile and Tile City. He was an Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam War. He is survived by three daughters, Deanna Mozingo and Tracy Patterson both of Boardman, and Kristen Hazenstab of Austintown; two sons, Timothy Davis of Austintown and Michael Davis, stationed with the U.S. Army at Fort Bragg, North Carolina; eight grandchildren; and an uncle and aunt from Austintown. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Davis. Arrangements are being handled by the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home
