Melvin R. McKee

Melvin R. McKee, Jr., 53 Youngstown- Melvin R. McKee, Jr., 53, of 2424 Shirley Road died suddenly Wednesday at his residence. Mr. McKee was born June 19, 1950 in Youngstown, a son of Melvin Sr., and June Carney McKee. He was raised in Struthers and lived in the area all of his life. He was a 1969 graduate of Struthers High School and was a member of St. Christineâa�a��s Church. He was an army veteran serving in the Vietnam War. Besides his sons, Melvin R. McKee III and John McKee both of Youngstown, he is survived by two sisters, Rondalind (Tom) Tomko of Boardman and Betty Leone of Canfield; two brothers, Michael Randy (Cathy) McKee of Warren and Rick (Kelley) Horvath of New Middletown; two grandsons, Tommy and John McKee and companion, Angela Reagan. He will sadly be missed by several nieces and nephews. His parents Melvin McKee and June McKee Horvath preceded him in death. Funeral services will be Monday 11:00 AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers where friends may call one hour prior from 9:45 until 10:45 AM at the funeral home.
