Matt P. Jaric

Matt P. Jaric, 86 Lowellville- Matt Paul Jaric, 86, of 6171 New Castle Road died Monday at his residence. Mr. Jaric was born December 26, 1917 in Hillsville, Pennsylvania, a son of Matt and Mary Jaric. He had worked for Marshall Mining until 1962. He had been a Deputy Sheriff during the Langly administration. He was a heavy equipment until retiring in 1994 after 42 years. Mr. Jaric was a member of Our Lady of Holy Rosary Church, the Operating Engineers Union and their retirement club. His wife the former Ann Skrtich whom he married in April of 1941 died in 1998. He leaves a son Robert Jaric and a granddaughter, Amber Leigh of Atlanta, Georgia; and a niece Vivian Materni of Chagrin Falls, Ohio. A memorial service will be held at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Lowellville at 11:00 AM Wednesday where visitation will be from 10:30 until 11:00.
