Mary "Pat" Patricia (Selby) Gorski

Boardman- A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Monday at 11am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church,7345 Westview Dr. Boardman, for Mary Patricia "Pat" Gorski, who died on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Assumption Village.

She was born on October 27, 1929 in Youngstown, to the late Norman and Mary Sturm Selby. Pat was a longtime resident of Boardman and was a 1948 graduate of Boardman High School.

She was employed as a secretary/teller with the Union National Bank while attending Youngstown College, where she was a member of the Newman Club.

Pat married Joseph J. Gorski Jr on June 21, 1958. Together they raised one daughter, Beth Anne Gorski. She was a longtime member of St. Charles Parish and a member of the Seton and a loyal member the Boardman Historical Society.

Pat was a loving and caring wife, mother and a longtime caregiver for her mother and father. Her favorite times were her luncheons with her high school classmates and the meetings at the Boardman Historical Society. She was an avid Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Cavaliers fan.

Pat leaves her daughter, Beth Anne of Youngstown; her brother, Dick Selby of Columbiana; her nephew, Richard N. Selby of Painesville; her niece, Marianne Nagy and her husband Albert and their children, Peter and Grace all of Stow; and her close cousin, Bill Farragher of Canfield.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Gorski Jr.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from, 9:30am-10:45am on Monday at the church. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
