Mary A. Zupko

Mary A. Zupko, 91 Struthers- Mary A. Zupko, 91, of Boardman Community Care formerly of Wilson Street in Struthers died Monday evening at the nursing home. Mrs. Zupko was born May 21, 1912 in Chicago a daughter of Vincent and Mary Halladik Bata. She came to Poland in 1920 and to Struthers as a young woman. She attended Poland Schools and was a homemaker. She was a former member of Infant Jesus of Prague and attended St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church in Struthers. She enjoyed traveling and was an avid card and bingo player. Her husband Andrew Zupko whom she married in 1935 died August 21, 1978. She leaves two daughters, Patti (John) Sikora of Poland and Jeanie (Steven) Mikus of Struthers; two sisters, Irma Alexoff of Struthers and Emily Yuhas of Poland; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband one sister Bessie Keshock preceded her in death. A Memorial Mass will be Thursday, 10:00 AM at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are being handled by Davidson-Becker Funeral Home.
