Mary J. Zimmerman, 80
BOARDMAN - Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland for Mary J. Zimmerman, 80. She passed away Thursday night at Vibra Hospital of Mahoning Valley.
Mrs. Zimmerman was born March 30, 1932, in Youngstown, a daughter of John and Bernice Logan Aaron.
She had worked as a secretary for Boardman Local Schools for 41 years, retiring in 1995.
Mary enjoyed going to auctions and was a member of the Boardman United Methodist Church.
Surviving her is her husband, William R. Zimmerman, whom she married June 21, 1952; two daughters, Kimberly A. (Mark) Best of Salem and Terry (Frank Manchi) Shaffer of Hubbard; a son, Jerry Zimmerman of Boardman; three grandchildren, Jeff and Kelly Best and Melinda (Bryan) Gillen; and a great-grandson, Bryan Gillen.
Friends may call Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. and Monday from 10 to 10:50 a.m., both at the funeral home.
