Medina- Mary I. Woodworth, 85, of Medina, formerly of Poland and Austintown, died July 15, 2009 at the Western Reserve Masonic Community in Medina.
Mrs. Woodworth was born January 12, 1924 in Youngstown, the daughter of Herbert and Josephine Cashon Estes.
She was 1940 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and attended the Youngstown Business College. Mrs. Woodworth worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for E.H. Duncan Company for 21 years, retiring in 1984.

She was a member of Word of God Christian Fellowship in Canfield, a former member of the Lamplight Chapter No. 582 of the Ohio Eastern Star and the Ruth Shrine No. 64 Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem. She also volunteered her time for the American Red Cross. Mrs. Woodworth enjoyed crocheting and knitting.

She leaves her husband, Victor John Woodworth Jr., whom she married February 14, 1943; two sons, David (Helen) Woodworth of Warren and Paul Woodworth of Florida; six grandchildren, Jacquelyn Woodworth, Julie (Mike) Reese, David Woodworth Jr., Shelly Woodworth, John Woodworth, and Matthew Woodworth; three great-grandchildren, Jacob Reese, Christian Whitaker, and Brandon Woodworth; and a daughter-in-law, Barbara Woodworth of Jacksonville, Florida.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Woodworth; her granddaughter, Mary Woodworth; and a grandson, Michael Woodworth.

Services will be held Friday, August 14 at 11 a.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland, where family and friends will be received one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will take place at Lake Park Cemetery.
