Mary Jane (Wallos) Wolf, 88
ALPHARETTA, GA. - Mary Jane (Wallos) Wolf, 88, (formerly of South Euclid, Ohio and Ormond Beach, Florida) peacefully entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 4, 2012.
She was born on September 18, 1924, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Mike and Kathryn (Knezevich) Wallos.
Mary Jane graduated from Memorial High School in 1942 and began her career at the Aetna Standard Engineering Company after graduating with honors from Youngstown College of Business, where she was a member of the Tau Kappa Nu Sorority. She was then employed at TRW, Inc. in Cleveland, and retired in 1987 after 23 years of service.
She was a devoted wife of 62 years to Edward Wolf who preceded her in death. They raised their family together in South Euclid before relocating to Ormond Beach, where they remained until moving to Alpharetta in 2001 to be close to family.
She was an active supporter of St. Gregory the Great Church (Ohio) and St. Brendan's Church (Florida).
Mary Jane enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, traveling, socializing, and spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends.
She was a loving mother to Peggy Huigens of Texas, Patty (Dennis) Kauffman of Georgia, Janey (David) Norris of Florida and Mickey (Rise) Wolf of Pennsylvania; cherished grandmother of Kate, Jessica, David, Cole, Kyle and Cameron; dearest sister of Helen Kovach of Wickliffe, Ohio.
Family will receive friends at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, 270 N. Main St. in Poland on Sunday, December 9, 2012 from 5 to 7 p.m. where a prayer service will be held on Monday at 9:15 a.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, December 10, 2012 at Christ the Good Shepherd
Parish at St. John the Baptist Church, 159 Reed Ave. in Campbell. Interment will follow at Belmont Park Cemetery.
