Mary M. Suhre

Mary M. Suhre, 92 New Castle- Mary M. Suhre, 92, of Hillview Manor formerly of Marmion Ave., Youngstown died Sunday evening at the nursing home. Mrs. Suhre was born December 17, 1910 in Hillsville, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Andrew and Amelia Yenco Puharich. She lived in Youngstown for 60 years before moving to Pennsylvania in 1993. She was a cafeteria manager for Woodrow Wilson High School for over 25 years retiring in 1976. She was a former member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Youngstown. Her husband Frederick W. Suhre whom she married in 1936 died in 1991. She leaves one son, Frederick J. (Sandra) Suhre of Ellwood City; one sister, Amelia Straka of Cleveland and two grandchildren, Terri Suhre and Frederick (Debbie) Suhre. One sister, Anna Puharich and four brothers, John, Andrew, Rudolph and Marion Puharich preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Friday, 1:00 PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Lowellville, where friends may call from 11:00 AM until 12:45 PM at the funeral home.
