Mary Sonnenlitter

Mary Sonnenlitter, 84 Youngstown- Mary Sonnenlitter, 84, of 2212 Canfield Road, died Thursday morning at Forum Health Northside Medical Center. Miss. Sonnenlitter was born January 22, 1922 in Lowellville, a daughter of William B. and Cecelia Blaine Sonnenlitter. She was raised in Lowellville and came to Youngstown in 1975. She was a 1940 graduate of Lowellville High School and attended Comptometer school. She worked in the office of Sharon Steel and then as manager of the cash office for Strouss-Hirschberg Department Store, Downtown Youngstown. She was a former member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville. Miss. Sonnenlitter will be sadly missed by her niece, Donna Sonnenlitter; two nephews, Robert and Michael Sonnenlitter; and several great and great-great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Miss. Sonnenlitter was preceded in death by one brother, Clarence Sonnenlitter. Private graveside services were held today at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.
