Coitsville- Mary Skripac, 88, of Coitsville, died Monday, June 2, 2008 at St. Mary's Alzheimer's Center. Mrs. Skripac was born December 6, 1919 in Struthers, Ohio, a daughter of Steve and Elizabeth Kopcho Lanches. She was a life-long area resident. Mrs. Skripac worked at Republic Rubber before her marriage and was a homemaker. She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville. She was also a member of the Mahoning County Farm Bureau, the Ohio State Mother's Club, the Croatian Lodge No. 185, and the Coitsville Senior Citizens. She leaves her husband, George Skripac, whom she married February 6, 1944; her daughter, Susan Camp of Oswego, NY; three sons, John (Linda) Skripac of Westerville, James (Cathy) Skripac of Stow, and Joseph (Ruth) Skripac of Gilbert, AZ; a daughter-in-law, Margaret Skripac of Canfield; six grandchildren, Amy Marenkovic of Canfield, Lora Skripac of Poland, Alexandra (Scott) Eikleberry of Lewis Center, Jennifer Skripac of Cuyahoga Falls, Christopher (Connie) Skripac of Stow, and Ashley Camp of Gilbert, AZ; and six great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Steve Skripac; and three brothers Joseph and Nick Lenches and Steve Lanches. Friends will be received Friday, June 27, 2008 at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Lowellville Chapel from 5-7 p.m. and Saturday, June 28, 2008 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church. A funeral mass will be held for both George and Mary on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Cemetery.
