Lowellville - Mary Jane Shushok, 66 of Lowellville, died Friday, January 7, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Boardman surrounded by her family.
She was born April 19, 1944 in Struthers, a daughter of Sortino and Helen Pisella Iannucci.
Mrs. Shushok worked for 25 years for Dairy Mart in Struthers, retiring in 2004. She attended St. Patrick Church in Youngstown, and was a member of the Struthers Eagles. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards and video games, especially her Nintendo DS. Mrs. Shushok enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Her husband, Joseph Matthew Shushok whom she married November 30, 1967, died June 15, 1998.
She is survived by two daughters, Jody (Mathew) Esposito of Lowellville, and Terri (James) Beil of Poland; a son Joseph Shushok of Youngstown; three grandchildren Lauren Beil, Austin Beil, and Joseph Shushok; two sisters Florence Petrella of Midland, MI, and Veronica Parry of Youngstown; one brother Pasquale Ianucci of Youngstown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Ianucci.
Family and friends will be received Monday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers, where prayer services will be held Tuesday at 9:15 am.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10:00 am at St. Patrick Church in Youngstown, with Fr. Edward P. Noga officiating. Interment will follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Lowellville.
