Mary Pat Schmid

Mary Pat Schmid, 65 Struthers-Mary Pat Schmid, 65, of 560 Geneva, died early Wednesday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Center after an ongoing battle with COPD. She was born in Struthers September 30, 1939, a daughter of Gerald and Tootsie Williams Donnelly. Mrs. Schmid worked as a salesperson at Sears Department Store. She was a 1958 graduate of Struthers High School. She attended Bethel Evangelical Friends Church in Poland. She loved gardening and arts and crafts. She lived, laughed and loved with her whole heart. She leaves her husband, William, whom she married June of 1960; a daughter Maureen(Thomas) Denmeade of New Middletown; two sons, William (Kimberlie) Schmid of N. Aurora,IL and Gregory (Patricia) Schmid of Canfield; a sister, Margaret Vidman of Boardman;a brother, Gerald (Marlene)Donnelly of Struthers; and 7 grandchildren, Ryan, Hollie, Marissa and Jessica Schmid; Julia, Kate and Luke Denmeade. A memorial service will be Friday 6PM at the Bethel Evangelical Friends Church in Poland. Friends may call Friday from 5-6PM at the church.
