Mary A. Russo, 89
YOUNGSTOWN - Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Davis-Becker Funeral Home for Mary A. Russo, 89. She passed away Wednesday morning at Hospice House.
Mary was born March 24, 1926, in Youngstown, a daughter of Dominic and Antionette Gaglione Russo.
She graduated from East High School and had worked for General Fireproofing, making airplane parts during the Korean War. She retired in March of 1985, from General Electric, Lamp Works, after 30 years of service.
She was a member of St. Dominic Church.
Surviving her is a sister, Clara Navy of Struthers; and a brother, Andrew (Rosetta) Russo of Youngstown. She also leaves caring nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, whom she loved very much. They loved her very much and she will be sadly missed.
Preceding her in death, besides her parents, are four brothers, Nicholas, Tony, Dominic, and Michael Russo; and three sisters, Angeline Popio, Carmel DeOnofrio, and Rose Mastrodonato.
Friends may call Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 to 10:45 a.m., both at the funeral home.
