Mary A., Ditman Rossler (Glazewski) Lady Bricklayer Struthers- Mary A. Ditman Rossler died early Wednesday morning at her residence. Mrs. Rossler was born November 20, 1925 to Henry C. Ditman and Mary (Aber) Ditman. She attended East High School and worked at Republic Steel during World War II. She also worked over the years at A&P and 17 years with Jones Drugs and Value Drugs. Mary and her first husband, along with other neighbors, helped to develop Sheridan Road from Holbrook to Wingate. They built five homes in the block. The Vindicator did a feature story on Mary as the âa�A"Lady Bricklayerâa�A� because she laid brick for the chimneys and patios. She was a member of the former Grace Methodist Church on the east side and then became a member of Faith Community Church. At Grace Methodist, she served on several committees and sang in the choir. She was a member of the AARP, was an avid card player and a member of two clubs. She enjoyed organ music and in the past, skated, bowled and played golf. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband John C. Rossler Sr., whom she married May 22, 1971. She leaves a son Edward (Leanne) Glazewski Jr., of Cortland and a daughter, Gwen Neumann of Strongsville; three stepchildren, John C. (Sue) Rossler, Jr., of Columbus, Pamela (Mel) Curran of Youngstown, and Cherylin (Bob) Pickens of Mineral Ridge; three sisters, Cecil M. Wild of Lowellville, Georgia (George) Bosley of Brookfield, and Grace (Richard) Serna of Arizona; two brothers, Jess (Charlotte) Ditman of Youngstown and Fred (Joy) Ditman of Arizona; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, family and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Henry C. Ditman, a sister Donna Candella, and a great-grandchild. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Faith Community Church. Friends may call Friday 4-8 p.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland and Saturday 9:30-10:15 a.m. at the Faith Community Church.
