Mary (Gough) Reedy, Mary Reedy, 89, of Greenbriar Healthcare Center, formerly of Omar Street in Struthers, died early Wednesday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Mrs. Reedy was born December 18, 1915 in Struthers and was the daughter of Thomas R. and Katherine Antibus Gough. She was raised in Petersburg and lived in Struthers for 70 years before moving to the Greenbriar Healthcare Center in Boardman 4 years ago. She was a graduate of Petersburg High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Struthers for 65 years and was currently a member of Prince of peace Lutheran Church in Poland. Her husband Paul A. Reedy whom she married March 24th, 1936 died January 25th, 1995. She leaves one son, Thomas (Debra) P. Reedy of Poland; a daughter, Janice L. (Robert) Voytko of Macedonia, Ohio; two grandchildren, Thomas P. (Marjorie) Reedy of Short Hills, NJ and Kelly L. (Doug) Elwell of Holly Springs, NC; three great-grandchildren, Andrew Thomas Elwell, Jessica Paige Reedy and Adam Thomas Reedy; one sister, Katherine Bushong of Poland; and a brother, Thomas R. Gough, Jr., of Struthers. Besides her parents and husband, a brother Harry Gough and a sister Alice Jackson preceded her in death. Mrs Reedy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was an outstanding homemaker, cook and baker. She taught her family the Golden Rule, many of lifeâa�a��s most important lessons, that winning isnâa�a��t everything and demonstrated unconditional love through her words and actions. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her. Funeral services will be Saturday 11:00 A.M. at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Poland. Friends may call Friday, from 5-8 P.M. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland and Saturday from 10 until 10:45 A.M. at the church.
