Mary J. Pinter

Mary J. Pinter, 83 YOUNGSTOWN-Mary J. Pinter, 83, died early Monday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center. Mrs. Pinter was born in Youngstown January 19, 1920, a daughter of Frank and Mary Forsthoffer Ballash. She was a lifelong area resident. She was a 1938 graduate of South High School and a homemaker. She was also a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Girard. Her husband, William T., whom she married, November 30, 1939, died June 12, 1995. She leaves one son, Greg (Jacqueline) Pinter of Boardman; one daughter Mother Anthony Marie of Poland; and two grandchildren, Erica Lyn and Christopher D.. of Austintown. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Isabelle Kaduan and Margaret Yohman; and one brother Frank Ballash. Private funeral services were held Friday 11:00 AM at Our Lay of Sorrows Catholic Church. Arrangements were handled by the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland.
