Her gentle, kind, and loving spirit was felt by all who knew and loved her. Her passing has left a void for her family and friends but her guiding spirit will continue to be a beacon of strength that will forever inspire us all through the difficult times ahead.
She was a resilient woman whose inner strength and determination in the face of overwhelming obstacles confronted life's challenges with dignity, humility, and determination. Her spirit will live on forever in the hearts and minds of her loved ones and those she touched with her infectious smile.
On May 12, 1947, she married her husband, Mario S. Piacentini, a World War II veteran who passed away on February 11, 1991 at the age of 72.
She was a Girl Scout troop leader and Den Mother for her son's Cub Scout den. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, and taking care of her adoring children. She loved decorating the house for the holidays. Christmas was her favorite time of year.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and raised two loving daughters and an adoring son who cared for her until her passing.
