Mary F. Noviello, 90, died early Thursday morning, May 3, 2018 at the Woodlands at Hampton Woods.
Mary was born September 13, 1927 in Hillsville, PA, a daughter of John and Catherine (Sculac) Capan.
Raised in Hillsville, Mary was a graduate of Bessemer High School. While shopping at the A&A Department Store in Struthers, she met Nicholas E. Noviello, Sr. when he waited on her in the shoe department. A spark was lit and they were wed on June 2, 1956. They lived their first year of marriage in Youngstown and then made their home in Struthers where they raised their four children. Prior to becoming a dedicated wife, mother, and homemaker, Mary worked as a salesperson for Strouss' Department Store.
She was a member of Christ Our Savior Parish at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church in Struthers and the Ladies Knights of Columbus. Some of Mary's favorite things included gardening, sewing, making crafts, and she enjoyed cooking for family and friends.
Her husband, Nick, preceded her in death on August 8, 2015. She is survived by three daughters, Patti Noviello of Struthers, Nancy (Rick) Miracle of Poland, and Karen (Dennis) Brubaker of Struthers; son, Nicholas E. Noviello, Jr. of Struthers; brother, Pete Capan of Lowellville; three grandchildren, Rick (Shannon) Ohl of Dayton, Kellie (Marc) Work of Cleveland, and Gina (Justin) Miller of Boardman; four step-grandchildren, Nicole (Jason Liggett) Brubaker of Boardman, Robert Brubaker of Bentonville, AR, Cody (Sherry) Miracle of Cortland, and Callen Miracle of Maui, HI; and two great-grandchildren, twins Olivia and James Work.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by three sisters, Ann Lingel, Caroline Cicuto, and Rose Grimm; and five brothers, Michael, Joseph, John, Frank, and Steve Capan.
Per Mary's request, a private memorial service will be held for the family. Interment will be at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.
