Youngstown - Mary Luteran, 100, of Park Vista Retirement Community, formerly of Poland, died early Sunday morning, January 15, 2012 at Park Vista Retirement Community.
Mrs. Luteran was born January 16, 1911 in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of John and Elizabeth Toth Pentek.
Mrs. Luteran was a homemaker and a member of the Hungarian Reformed Presbyterian Church in Youngstown.
Her husband, George Luteran, whom she married September 12, 1936, died in 1977. She leaves her two sisters, Julia Helscel of Youngstown and Irene Pastula of San Diego, California; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, George R. Luteran; brother, John Pentek; and two sisters, Elizabeth Szush and Ethel Laws.
Services will be held Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland, where family and friends will be received Wednesday from 10:30-11:15 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at the Poland Riverside Cemetery.
