Lowellville - Mary Louise Husak, 87, of Lowellville, died Saturday evening, November 11, 2017 at her residence.
Mary was born July 8, 1930 in Lowellville, a daughter of Michael and Mary Dutton Churan.
A life-long resident of Lowellville, Mary attended Lowellville High School. She worked as a packer for Rose Bloom Brothers, Southside Hospital Laundry Department, and was a factory worker for Insulated Glass. She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Lowellville.
It was at Rose Bloom Brothers where she met the love of her life, her husband, Steve Husak. They were married April 24, 1954 and made their home in Lowellville. Steve died June 5 2011 after 57 years of marriage.
Mary's greatest love was her family and she cherished the time spent with them. She leaves her two daughters, Mary Ann Ball and Dorothy Husak; and two sisters, Martha Churan and Virginia Brown.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Churan and sister, Dorothy Churan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Fr. Larry Frient officiating. Interment will follow at the Holy Rosary Cemetery.
Friends will be received Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Lowellville where a prayer service will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m.
