Chagrin Falls - Mary A. Emch, 82, formerly of Poland, died September 17, 2017 at Hillcrest Hospital.
Mrs. Emch was born September 17, 1935 in Youngstown, a daughter of Hugh and Helen Adams Black.
She was a homemaker, who loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Her husband, Carl Emch Jr., whom she married Feb. 8., 1965, died May 17, 1992.
She is survived by two daughters, Connie (Rick) Beal of Chagrin Falls and Judy Bernat of Youngstown; son-in-Law, Tarick Bernat of Boardman; five grandchildren, Carlie Beal, Dillon Beal, Jason Bernat, Jennifer Snyder, and Julie Snyder; and seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Aeppli of Florida and Beverly Lewis of Columbus.
Besides her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by one daughter, Nancy Patton; four brothers; and four sisters.
A brief committal service will be held on Thursday at 1:30PM at Lake Park Cemetery, Youngstown.
Friends and family will be received Thursday from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, 11 Spring St., Struthers.
