Mary Elizabeth Morrison Zimmerman -- 88 COLUMBIANA âa�" Mary Elizabeth Morrison Zimmerman, 88 of Parkside Nursing Center, in Columbiana, died Monday afternoon at Salem Hospital. Mrs. Zimmerman was born July 1, 1918 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Blanche Ruthfauff Jenkins. She was a 1935 graduate of New Castle High School, and she attended Slippery Rock University where she received her Bachelors and her Masters Degree in Education. She was a School Teacher for the New Castle School District, and also for Shenango Township. She also was a Guidance Councilor at the New Castle High School. A member of the Mahoning Presbyterian Church in Pulaski, and was a former member of the Glen - Moore Presbyterian Church in New Castle. Her first husband, Robert Morrison whom she married October 12, 1946, died in 1989, and her second husband, Delbert Zimmerman whom she married June 2, 1990, died January 1, 1998. She is survived by six Step-Sons, Charles Zimmerman of Troy; Donald Zimmerman of Lowellville; Arthur Zimmerman of Alabama; Robert Zimmerman of North Carolina; Elmer Zimmerman of Columbiana; Frank Zimmerman of Pulaski; twenty-one step grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call Monday, May 21, 2007 at the Mahoning Presbyterian Church, 4401 Skyhill Rd., Pulaski, PA 16143, from 11:00 âa�" 11:45 am., where funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon. Private interment will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in New Castle. Memorial donations may be given in Mrs. Zimmermanâa�a��s name to the Mahoning Presbyterian Church.
