Struthers - Mary Anne DiLullo, 78, died unexpectedly August 13, 2017 at her residence.
Mary Anne was born October 20, 1938 in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of LeRoy and Mary Anne Clark Richards. As a young girl, Mary Anne and her family came to Struthers and settled in Nebo.
She was a Struthers High School graduate, Class of 1956 and was a homemaker. Mary Anne loved athletics and when in high school she played softball. She later coached Struthers Dairy Queen Girl's Little League Softball Team. While raising her six children, Mary Anne worked as a recreation coordinator and later a lodge custodian for Yellow Creek Park which later became Mill Creek Metro Park at Yellow Creek. She also sold Avon and worked for The Vindicator delivering papers. Mary Anne was a member of a weekly Wednesday card club that played at the Elmton. She also participated in the former Struthers Presbyterian Church quilters. Mary Anne was a member of Christ Our Savior Parish at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church.
Mary Anne's husband, Robert DiLullo, whom she married April 19, 1958, died January 30, 2017. Mary Anne leaves her mother Mary Anne Brookman of Tucson, AZ; three daughters, Mary Anne Snyder of Youngstown, Dorothy (Ronald) Terrill of Hillsville, and Christine DiLullo of Campbell; three sons, Robert (Darlene) DiLullo of Poland, Donald (Michelle) DiLullo of Struthers, and Richard (Donna) DiLullo of New Middletown; sixteen grandchildren; and twenty four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her father and husband, Mary Anne was preceded in death by her son, Samuel DiLullo; daughter, Donna DiLullo; and brother James Richards.
A memorial service will be held Friday, 7:00 p.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers with Deacon John Terranova officiating. A bereavement dinner will follow at the Davidson-Becker Family Center, Struthers.
Friends will be received Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
Inurnment will be at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.
