Mary Delores DiIanni

Poland - Mary Delores DiIanni, 104, died Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Hampton Woods Nursing Center.

Mary was born October 25, 1913 in Hillsville, PA, a daughter of Anthony and Jenny D'Amico Donatelli.

Mary was raised in Lowellville and attended Lowellville Schools. She married Louis M. DiIanni on October 6, 1934 and they made their home in Poland since 1949. Mrs. DiIanni was a dedicated homemaker, who enjoyed taking care of her home and family, cooking, baking, and crocheting, sharing many of her afghans and creations with family and friends.

She was a charter member of Holy Family Parish and its Altar Guild and a member of the Mt. Carmel Society in Lowellville.

Her husband, Louis, preceded her in death on October 18, 2006. She is survived by her son, Claude (Elaine) DiIanni of Boardman; two brothers, Alfred (Donna) Donatelli of Ft. Myers, FL and Anthony (Patricia) Donatelli of Indian Run, SC; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by her daughters, Mary Louise Perry and Joann McHugh; son, Louis C. DiIanni; brothers, Daniel, Benny, and Rudy Donatelli; sisters, Josephine Perry, Connie Iudiciani and Jean Fitch; grandchild, William McHugh, Jr.; and great-grandchild, Marshall V. Perry.

There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Parish, 2729 Center Road, Poland, with Msgr. William Connell officiating. Interment will be at Poland Riverside Cemetery.

The family would like express their appreciation and gratitude to the staff of Hampton Woods Nursing Center and Crossroads Hospice for the wonderful care they gave to Mary.
