Mary Elizabeth Davies

Mary Elizabeth Davies, 77 Poland- Mary Elizabeth Davies, 77, of Shepherd of the Valley formerly of Lowellville died early Wednesday morning at the nursing home. Miss. Davies was born November 22, 1924 in Lowellville, a daughter of Reuben and Katherine Bennett Davies. She lived in Lowellville all of her life. Miss Davies was a 1943 graduate of Lowellville High School. During World War II she worked at General Fire Proofing. For many years she worked as both a waitress and a clerk for various businesses in the area. She leaves one sister, Emily DeVine of Los Altos, California; five nieces and two nephews. One sister Ethel Fitch and a brother Paul Davies preceded her in death. Services will be Friday, 7:00 PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Lowellville. Friends may call from 4:45 PM until 6:45 PM hours prior at the funeral home.
