Mary Alice Cannon

Mary Alice Cannon, 79 Youngstown- Mary Alice Cannon, 79 of Youngstown, died Tuesday morning at Forum Health Northside Medical Center. Mrs. Cannon was born July 25, 1927 in Youngstown, a daughter of Chester and Mary Etta Bott Sarver. She was a life-long area resident. She attended North High School and was in house keeping for St. Elizabeth Medical Center for 18 years. She was a member of the former Faith Lutheran Church, Youngstown, where she was a Sunday School and Vacation Bible School teacher. As a young mother, she was Den Mother for her sonâa�a��s Cub Scouts and was president of the Parent-Teacher Association, Youngstown. Her husband Lewis William Cannon, whom she married December 18, 1946 died July 27, 2005. She leaves one son, Michael Cannon and his fiancée Susan Gilbert of Lowellville and two grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, two brothers Chester and Robert Sarver preceded Mary in death. A memorial service will be held Friday, 2:00 PM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers.
