New Middletown - Mary Lucille Bonace, 84, died Saturday, June 6, 2009 at Pembrook Place.
Mrs. Bonace was born May 12, 1925 in Erskine Quarry, PA, a daughter of Nazzarino and Angela Mangine Moretti.
Mrs. Bonace worked as a Nurses Aide for St. Elizabeth Hospital in the Nursery for over 20 years retiring in 1989. She also was a member of the St. James the Apostle Church in New Bedford.
Her husband, Frank Bonace, whom she married May 29, 1948 died December 13, 1975. She is survived by two daughters, Angela (William) Barber of New Middletown and Karen VanAtta of Muldraugh, KY; two brothers, Eugene (Marie) Moretti of Lowellville, Donald (Helen) Moretti of Struthers; five grandchildren, William Barber, Christopher Barber, Jason VanAtta, Levi VanAtta and Heather VanAtta and nine great-grandchildren, Christopher, Brock, Codey, Elizabeth, Gavin, Alexandria, Brayden, Zachery, Madison.
Besides her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by three brothers, John, Patrick and George Moretti.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the St. James the Apostle Church in New Bedford, with Father John Rebel, officiating. Interment will follow at the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Cemetery in Lowellville.
Family and friends will be received Tuesday 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Lowellville, where prayer services will be held Wednesday at 9:15 a.m.
