Mary Jeffery Allshouse

Struthers - Mary Jeffery Allshouse, 82, of Struthers, died early Wednesday morning at St. Elizabeth Medical Center.
Mary was born October 11, 1930 in Struthers, a daughter of the James Glenn and Mary Byers Jeffery.
A life-long member of Struthers, Mary was a 1948 graduate of Struthers High School. She worked in the Payroll and Insurance Department for the Youngstown Sheet and Tube for nineteen years, retiring in 1967. From 1987 until 1996 she was secretary for the former McFarland Manor in Struthers.
Mary was a life-time member of the former Struthers Presbyterian Church now known as Struthers Parkside Church. In the 1970's she was appointed the First Chairman of the Showers of Blessings at the church. Mary was a member the FA Club that met monthly since 1951.
Mary leaves her husband of 60 years, Clyde Allshouse whom she married June 20, 1953; one son, Jeffery Allshouse of Struthers; one sister, Glenna Jeffery of Boardman; and her FA Club family, (Jane, Beverly, Kay, Nancy, and Glenna).
A Memorial Services will be held Saturday April 13 at 11:00 AM at the Struthers Parkside Church with Pastor James Berkebile officiating. Interment will take place at the Rittman National Cemetery.
