Martin Reitmann, 59 Lowellville- Martin Reitmann, 59, died Friday morning at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Weissenkirchen, Austria December 6, 1944, a son of Michael and Rosina Emrich Reitmann. He came to the United States in 1952. Mr. Reitmann was a 1964 graduate of Canfield High School and a 1972 graduate of Youngstown State University, receiving a degree in Business Administration. He worked as Regional Customer Service Manager for Kraft Foods. He was a veteran of the United States Army in the Vietnam War, where he was an Operating Room Specialist and received a Bronze Star Medal. He was a recipient of the General Foods Chairmanâa�a��s Award for pioneering customer service programs in the 1980âa�a��s. He was a repetitive winner of the Sales Leadership Award and won the Above the Call of Duty Award in 1996. Martin was instrumental in establishing the Customer Service Center in Allentown , PA and received the General Foods Award of Excellence in 1988. In his honor the Marty Reitmann Golf Tournament was established in Allentown, PA. He was a member of the Saxon Club in Youngstown. Mr. Reitmann enjoyed antique cars, golfing, hunting, fishing, camping, and the stock market. He extremely enjoyed spending time at his second home in Surfside Beach, SC. He leaves his wife, the former Patti Patrick, whom he married, October 8, 1983 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Youngstown; one son, Chris (Sheryl) Reitmann of Avon, OH; five brothers, Michael Reitmann of Ft. Myers, FL; Gerhard Reitmann of Treasure Island, FL; John (Sue) Reitmann of Poland; Walter (Nanci) Reitmann of Treasure Island, FL; and Steve (Stephanie) Reitmann of New Philadelphia, OH; two sisters; Rosy (Herb) Gee of Canfield and Mary (Tom) Hall of Poland; two grandchildren, Cori and Christopher Reitmann; mother âa�"in-law, Mary Patrick; brother âa�"in-laws; David (Connie) Patrick, Ricky (Helen) Patrick; sister-in-law, Sandy (Ron) Rossi; seven nieces, Shellie Marsh, Thea Brown, Brittany Tsvetkoff, Heidi Schumaker, Jessica Hall, Karlie Reitmann, and Katherine Reitmann; six nephews, David Patrick, Ryan Rossi, Ronnie Rossi, Jeremiah Gee, Justin Reitmann, and Jason Reitmann; three great nieces, Michaela Brown, Cadin Tsvetkoff, and Lena Marsh; and two great nephews, Tanner Tsvetkoff and Forrest Brown. Besides his parents, paternal grandparents, Michael and Katharina Reitmann; maternal grandparents; Martin and Katharina Emrich preceded him in death. Funeral services will be Wednesday 11 AM at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Poland. Friends may call Tuesday from 5-8 PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland and 10-11AM at the church.
