CAMPBELL
Marlene Jeanette Miller, 69, passed away peacefully early Friday morning, November 4th at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Boardman campus.
Marlene was born in Youngstown December 9, 1947 to the late Michael J. Miller Sr. and Mary Rose Baulo Miller.
She graduated from Campbell Memorial High School in 1965, where she was a member of the marching band throughout her high school years. She went on to complete her education at Youngstown University, receiving a bachelor’s degree in education in 1969. After a short time teaching, she went to work at the family business, Miller Rod & Gun, until her retirement in 2015.
Marlene had many diverse interests over the years. She was a long time member of Lowellville Rod & Gun Club. She loved to travel and photographed many beautiful pictures. She was also an officer in Starfleet and a true “Trekkie”.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her brother, Michael J. (Patricia) Miller Jr. ; her niece, Michele Miller; nephews, Michael (Amy) Miller and Matthew (Stacey) Miller. She also leaves seven great nephews and nieces, and six great-great nephews and nieces.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel at Lake Park Cemetery with Pastor Rusty Wills officiating, followed by a luncheon at the Elmtree Hall, 170 Walton Avenue, Struthers, Ohio 44471.
Arrangements are by the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland.
